VII. Warranty conditions
1. Warranty period of the M+W Superlite Power Pen/Color Pen is 24 months from the date of purchase. If date of purchase is not received
in written form, warranty starts at date of production.
2. During the warranty period any defective parts (LED module and battery - 6 months warranty) are replaced free of charge by the manu-
facturer.
3. If the device is damaged during the guarantee period due to incorrect operation (mechanical, chemical, thermal or electrical damage),
improper use, storage or any other reasons where the user is at fault, the repairs are to be paid by the user.
If any damage is noticed to the electric cables, the device must be sent immediately to the manufacturer. The device must not be used if ca-
bles are damaged. If liquids, such as water and solvents, aggressive or flammable substances and their vapours penetrate or are poured on
the device, or if the device is wiped with same, or if insects or rodents have entered the device, it must be sent immediately to the manu-
facturer. In such cases warranty claims are inadmissible. Damages and claims relating to irradiation are not accepted if resulting from
electric shocks, thunder storms, non-compliance with measures for electric safety or insufficient protection of patients, personnel or third
parties.
The manufacturer does not owe compensation for lost profits in cases of defects or malfunction of the device, regardless of the cause.
No claims and damages are accepted due to inadequate safety measures and lacking security during transportation, unpacking, changes in
position and work location, and the storage of the device. Warranty is null and void if any of the above circumstances occur.
If a dispute arises on the application and interpretation of these operating instructions, the applicable laws in Germany shall apply. Place of
jurisdiction is the court in Friedberg.
4. This warranty expires if repairs or servicing of the device are performed by an unauthorized party or if other than original parts of the
M+W Superlite Power Pen/Color Pen are used.
