4. Colour ring indicator in the handpiece
4.1 Lamp is inactive –
the colour ring indicator does not display any colours
4.2 Charging of battery – the colour ring indicator flashes blue
4.3 Batteries are fully charged –
the colour ring indicator shines blue permanently
4.4 During polymerisation –
the colour ring indicator shines green
4.5 Protection against overheating –
the colour ring indicator flashes yellow
5. Charging and replacing the battery
When emitted light is blinking, this means the battery is 85% discharged. It can be used
for a short time to finish the curing procedure and must be connected to charger after that.
The M+W Superlite Power Pen/Color Pen is fitted with an electronic charge control which
prevents overcharging the battery an thus ensures a long service life of the battery.
Only use the supplied mains plug for charging the M+W Superlite Power Pen/Color Pen!
The practical mains plug allows allows use of the M+W Superlite Power Pen/Color Pen
during charging. This avoids long waiting periods for charging.
To replace the battery, unscrew the lower section of the M+W Superlite Power Pen/Color
Pen as shown in the illustration.
Loosen the white plug connection an remove the battery from the device.
Reinsert the new battery in the same manner.
Only use original M+W Superlite Power Pen/Color Pen batteries, do not use with other batteries.
