Before remounting, the dosing nozzle should be completely

25 - 70 µm (Fig� 13)!

This cover can be ordered as a spare part�

Spare Parts
Only use accessories and spare parts that have been supplied or approved by Renfert GmbH.
Using other accessories or other spare parts can lead to inadvertent accidents and damage.
You can find components subject to wear and the spare parts on the spare part list in the internet at
www.renfert.com/p918. The components excluded from the warranty (such as consumables or parts
subject to wear and tear) are marked on the spare part list�
Serial number and date of manufacturing are shown on the type plate of the unit�

Trouble shooting
Problem
No air and no abrasive.
Only air, no or very
little abrasive.

Unit blasts continu-

Lamp is not alight.
Compressed air leaking
from the foot switch.
Possible cause
• Blasting nozzle blocked at the hand-
piece�
• Foot switch connecting lines kinked�
• Tank selection switch in an intermedi-
ate position�
• The dosage nozzle in the mixing cham-
ber is blocked due to contaminated or
moist sand�
• Mixing chamber filter combination
blocked�
• Abrasive contains impurities or is
moist�
• Foot switch connected incorrectly�
• Valve in foot switch is defective�
• Power cord not plugged in�
• Illumination defect�
• Pneumatic hoses reversed�
Corrective action
• Unscrew the nozzle from the hand-piece and blow
it out�
• With the nozzle removed, blow out the blasting
hose by activating the foot pedal�
• Inspect / correct the connection lines�
• Turn the switch until you feel it click into place�
• Cleaning the dosing nozzle, see chapter 6�5�
• Change filter cartridge (17, Fig. 1) (wrench SW14).
• Replace the abrasive�
• Inspect / correct the foot switch connection�
• Replace foot switch�
• Plug the power cord into the wall outlet�
• Change light using the service or see spare part list�
• Reverse the connections�
