2.3 Safety notes
All appliances have been
checked for material, function
and quality before we deliver
them.
The appliances may
nevertheless cause harm
if they are used by non-
authorized persons in an
inappropriate way or if they
are used not according to the
indications of this manual.
The following notes are
strictly to be observed:
• The appliances must not be
run in rooms where there is
danger of explosion.
• The appliances must not
be run in rooms where
the air contains oil, sulphur,
chlorine or salt.
• The appliances must be put
in a stable position.
• The applianes must not be
located immediatly below a
socketoutlet.
• The appliances must not get
into direct contact with a jet
of water.
• In order to avoid overheating
the appliance must not be
covered.
• The air intake and air outlet
must always be kept free.

• When running, the appliance
must not be covered.
• Never put any object into the
appliance.
• When running, the appliance
must not be transported.
• All electrical cables outside
of the appliance must be
protected against damage.
• Protect Power Cord from
Damage: Never operate a
unit with a damaged power
cord, as this may lead to
electrical or fire hazards.
If the power supply cord is
damaged, it must be
replaced by a cord of the
same type and amperage
rating.
• Before transport, the drip
pan must be drained.
• Children of less than 3 years
should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3
years and less than 8
years shall only switch on/
off the appliance provided
that it has been placed or
installed in its intended
normal operating position
and they have been given
supervision or instruction
concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards
involved.
