Please read the complete manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system.
1. DESCRIPTION
The flush mounting external unit with LCD display from the Access Control Standard range is designed for door telephony. This flush mounting external unit is
available in two models: without camera (10-282) and with color camera (10-382). Both external units are equipped with a keyboard, LCD display, microphone
and loudspeaker. The 10-282 requires a 3-wire connection, the 10-382 requires a 5-wire connection. The external unit can be programmed (list of names, 3
access codes, etc.) via the interface using the software provided (10-855). The texts on the LCD display can be displayed in different languages.
2. INSTaLLaTION
Check whether the following components are present:
• external unit with flush mounting box
• socket wrench for opening the external unit
• user manual
What cables do you need?
Niko raadt het volgende aan:
- JYSTY(-F2) 3 x 2 x 0.8mm (distance power supply to outdoor station max. 200m)
- TVVF(-F2) 3 x 2 x 0.8mm (distance power supply to outdoor station max. 200m)
- TPVF 3 x 2 x 0.6mm (distance power supply to outdoor station max. 100m)
- UTP / FTP / STP 4 x 2 x 0.5mm (distance power supply to outdoor station max. 70m)
Note:
Only 3 of the provided cable pairs are used for the audio external unit (10-282). If one pair is damaged or you wish to switch to videophony (10-382), suf-
ficient spare pairs are available.
Tip: Use the same color code for identical terminals (a, b, P...) for all the Access Control Standard products in one system!
Installing the external unit
First remove the front plate from the external unit (fig.1).
For this purpose, loosen the four socket screws at the front of the external
unit with the supplied socket wrench.

Insert the cable through one of the openings provided in the flush mounting box. Mount the external unit in the desired position using the mounting holes
provided for this purpose. The recommended mounting height from the floor is 140 to 150cm for a microphone and loudspeaker and 160 to 170cm for a
camera. Connect the cable as follows: a and b (audio and bus), V1 and V2 (for 10-382) and P (additional power supply).
