After the refrigerating pipes have been installed, act as follows:
Carry out a pressure test to check that all components are tight. Testing pressure should be higher than
max. operating pressure, as provided by law; in addition no permanent deformations should appear during the
test.
The tightness test should be carried out without any harmful gas; preferably use nitrogen or other inert gas. The
equipment used should include a pressure limiting device and a regulator with pressure gauge, so that the max.
safety value is not exceeded.
Keep the system under pressure for at least 5 hours, making sure that pressure does not drop (Note: this
should be checked at constant ambient temperature).
Connect the vacuum pump until a pressure of 1 mbar is reached; keep compressor shut down valves
closed and maintain the recommended vacuum level for at least 60 minutes.
Open compressor shut down valves and repeat vacuum operations.
Charge the unit with liquid refrigerant through the charge valve placed on the liquid line. (Note: if
possible, do not carry out any quick charge from suction point).

Clean the unit carefully. Remove any dust, foreign substances and dirt possibly deposited during handling.
Use detergents and degreasers.
