Desmontagem dos
componentes originais
Marque a posição do guiador em relação à
braçadeira de fixação para remontá-la com a
mesma inclinação.

Sustente adequadamente o guiador e
remova a braçadeira do guiador original (A),
desatarraxando os quatro parafusos (B) de
fixação: os dois parafusos (B) traseiros
devem ser reutilizados.
Montagem dos componentes do

kit
Importante
Verifique, antes da montagem, se

todos os componentes estão limpos e em
1
perfeito estado. Adote todas as precauções
necessárias para evitar danificar qualquer
peça com a qual deve trabalhar.
Atenção
Durante a montagem de
componentes de carbono, preste especial
atenção ao aperto dos parafusos de fixação.
Aperte os elementos de fixação sem forçar
excessivamente, a fim de evitar que o
carbono seja danificado.

Monte a braçadeira (2) no guiador e fixe-a
provisoriamente com os dois parafusos
originais (B) recuperados, aplicando massa
preta (GREASE B) na rosca e na parte
inferior da cabeça dos parafusos.
Monte os dois parafusos especiais (3) nos
furos de diâmetro maior que a braçadeira,
aplicando massa preta (GREASE B) na rosca
e na parte inferior da cabeça dos parafuso.
Verifique se a posição do guiador está
correta, de seguida, bloqueie os parafusos
(B) e (3) realizando uma sequência cruzada a
um binário de 25±5% Nm (veja também a
secção 7-8.1 do Manual de Oficina).
Monte os dois parafusos especiais (4) nos
furos dianteiros da braçadeira e bloqueie-os.
Utilizando água com sabão, instale os anéis
de borracha (6) na cúpula em carbono (1).
Insira, pelo lado interno da cúpula em
carbono, os espaçadores (5) nos anéis de
borracha (6) anteriormente instalados.
Apoie a cúpula em carbono montada na
braçadeira, centrando os espaçadores nos
parafusos especiais.
Monte os quatro parafusos (7) nos
espaçadores e bloqueie-os nos parafusos
especiais a um binário de 4 Nm.

Warning
Have the kit installed by a trained
technician or at a DUCATI Authorized
Workshop.
Removing the original
components
Mark the handlebar position with respect to
the retaining U-bolt in order to be able to
reassemble it with the same angle.
Properly support the handlebar and remove
the original handlebar U-bolt (A) by
loosening the four retaining screws (B): the
two rear screws (B) have to be reused.
Kit installation
Caution
Check that all components are clean
and in perfect condition before installation.
Adopt any precaution necessary to avoid
damages to any part of the motorcycle you
are working on.
Warning
When fitting carbon parts, take
special care when tightening fastening
screws. Tighten fasteners without forcing
too much to prevent carbon parts from
being damaged.
Fit the U-bolt (2) on the handlebar and
temporarily secure it by means of the two
original screws (B) recovered, smearing
some black grease (GREASE B) onto screw
thread and underside.
Fit the two special screws (3) onto the U-
bolt holes featuring the biggest diameter,
smearing some black grease (GREASE B)
onto screw thread and underside.
Check that the handlebar position is correct,
then tighten the screws (B) and (3) to
25±5% Nm, proceeding in a cross pattern
(see also section 7-8.1 of Workshop
Manual).
Fit the two special screws (4) onto the U-
bolt front holes and tighten them.
Install the seals (6) onto the carbon
headlight fairing (1) by using water and
soap. Fit the spacers (5) in seals (6)
previously installed, working from inside the
carbon headlight fairing.
Set preassembled carbon headlight fairing
on U-bolt, centring spacers on special
screws.
Fit the four screws (7) into the spacers and
tighten them onto the special screws to 4
Nm.
