Changing snap-on presser
foot
1. Raise needle to its highest position by turning hand
wheeltowardyou.
2. Raise presser footusingpresserfootlifteratbackof
machine.
3. Push toe of presser foot (1)up,untilitsnapsoffthe
shank(2).
4. Removefootfrommachine.
5. Placenewfootundercenterofshank.
6. Lower presser foot lifter, fitting shank over presser
footpin(3).
7. Don'tturnscrew.Instead,pushpresserfootscrew(4)
down,firmlyuntilfootsnapsintoplace.
Attatching feed cover
1. Turn h a n d wheel until the needle is in its highest
positionand liftthepresserfoot.
2. Opentheslideplate.
3. Slidefeedcoverontopofneedleplatepressingtabs
(A)and (B)intoholes.
4. Closeslideplate.
5. To remove, open slide plate a n d l i f t f r o n t e d g e o f
coverpullitaway.
6. Bringthreadupthroughtheholeofthefeedcover,
following the sameprocedureaswhenpassingthe
threadorchanging bobbin.
