tion 4 and 5 before applying and fi ring a very thin coat of ceramic layer
(i.e.: HeraCeram NP-Primer, HeraCeramSun Pre-Opaque, Opaker etc.).
Extrude Blendgold Neu paste out of the syringe directly onto a clean
brush and apply a thin coat of Blendgold Neu onto the the fi rst fi red
ceramic basic layer. Heat the ceramic furnace to 400°C (752°F), and
dry the Blendgold Neu in the heat radiating from it. The temperature of
the object should reach approximately 180°C (356°F). Raise the tem-
perature to 820°C (1508°F) at a rate of 55°C (131°F) / min. and fi re
without a vacuum and holding time. Remove the object on the fi ring
tray from the furnace, and allow it to bench cool. Continue processing
the ceramic as usual. Simply applying a coat of Blendgold in the cervi-
cal region may be adequate. Blendgold Neu cannot be directly applied
to Heraenium Sun. If a warm, yellowish gold colour is needed, we rec-
ommend using HeraCeramSun intensive opaquer gold.
