● Following installation of a new mowing
blade, confirm the blade replacement in
the "Service" menu. (see instruction
manual for the robotic mower)
3.3 Removing ARS 028
Removing the mowing blade
● Push in both tabs (1) on the
carrier plate with one hand and
hold. Remove fastening nut (C) with
your other hand. Remove the mowing
blade together with the fastening nut.
Removing the carrier plate
● Attach puller (D) as shown and remove
carrier plate (B) from the motor shaft.
4. Notes on mowing
4.1 Adapting the programming
The robotic mower mows the mowing area
automatically as usual when the cleaning
set ARS 028 is fitted.
Due to the smaller cutting width, VIKING
recommends increasing the mowing
duration by approx. 10 % – see the
section "Adapting the programming" in the
instruction manual for the robotic mower.
4.2 Perimeter wire
Due to the smaller cutting width, a slightly
wider strip at the edge of the mowing area
remains unmowed when using the
cleaning set ARS 028.
8
Remedy
1. Adapt the track offset:
Set a value of 5 cm.
(see the section "Menu – Settings" in
the instruction manual for the robotic
mower)
2. Block off obstacles that cannot be
5
negotiated at the edge:
6
If collisions with obstacles occur when
negotiating the edge with a track offset
of 5 cm, increase the distance between
the perimeter wire and the respective
obstacle by approx. 1 cm.
3. Re-route the perimeter wire around
obstacles that can be negotiated:
The distance from obstacles with a
maximum height of 3 cm can be
reduced by 1 cm.
5. Maintenance

5.1 Maintenance schedule

● Carry out a weekly visual inspection of
the mowing blade, carrier plate and
fastening nut for damage (notches,
cracks, fractures, etc.) and wear.
● Replace the mowing blade every 200
hours

5.2 Cleaning
● If the noise produced by the machine
increases during mowing, carefully
remove any dirt from the mowing blade
and carrier plate (e.g. using a brush).
The mowing blade and carrier plate can
also be installed offset by 180°.
5.3 Mowing blade maintenance
Risk of injury!
In particular, check for wear on the
mowing blade; the same wear limits
apply as for the original mowing
blade.
The mowing blade, carrier plate
and fastening nut must be
replaced if damaged (e.g. broken,
worn).
● Maintain the mowing blade as per the
instruction manual for the robotic
mower.
● See the section "Assembly and
disassembly" for information on
removing and installing the mowing
blade (
