2 INSTALLATION
The installation of the equipment must be carried out by personnel authorised and specialised to
perform this task, after adequate training for the commissioning of equipment of this type. The
installation must be carried out with the equipment not connected to the storage battery bank.
2.1 Mechanical Installation
a) Install the WRM60 X in a dry and properly ventilated place,
fixed on a non-flammable surface and positioned in such a
way as to leave an obstacle-free space of at least 10cm
above and below the device that allows for forced air
convection cooling.
b) Fix the support bracket to the wall using the dowels and
screws (supplied); then hook the inverter using the plate at
the top of the unit. Lastly, secure the regulator to the wall
using the hole at the bottom of the unit. All as shown in
Pic.5.
2.2. Electrical installation of WRM60 X
For the various types of WRM60 X installation, refer to the diagrams in the Appendix (A1 to A5).
2.2.1 Battery connection
Make the connection with the BAT+/- (1) terminal block. Connect the eyelets of the battery cables: positive (+,
red) and negative (-, black) to the M8 fixing screws with a maximum torque of 10 Nm (it is a good idea to anchor
the cables once they are wired so that their weight does not directly discharge onto the terminals, forcing the PCB
where they are soldered).
Place the battery bank near the regulator and size the power cables properly. The distance cannot exceed the
length of the supplied CAN cable (2.5 m).
