• Authorised installation personnel must be specialised and experienced to perform this task; they must also
have received training and/or have demonstrated appropriate skills and knowledge of the unit's structure
and operation for Western CO equipment.
• It is strictly forbidden to remove the lids/panels of the inverter as this invalidates the warranty.
Transport and storage
• When storing or transporting the product, ensure that the battery cables are disconnected.
• Store the product in a dry place and at a temperature between -40°C and +70°C to avoid damaging the
product.
• Refer to the battery manufacturer's manual for information on transporting, storing, charging, recharging
and disposing of the battery.
• Please remember that the packaging (cardboard, cellophane, staples, adhesive tape, straps, etc.) can cut
and/or injure if not handled with care. The packaging components must be disposed of in accordance with
the regulations in force in the country of installation.
• When opening the packaging, check the integrity of the equipment and check that all components are
present. If defects or deteriorations are found, suspend operations and contact the carrier, and promptly
inform Western CO.
• In case of returns to the manufacturer, the material must be packed and protected properly. Western CO.
reserves the right to assess the condition of the product and warranty in case of damage due to improper
packaging.
• The information in the manual does not replace the safety regulations in force in the country of installation
and the rules dictated by common sense.
Operation
• Check the correct environmental and logistic conditions also during operation.
• It is strongly recommended to connect the plant to the Internet for effective and timely maintenance and
service if the inverter malfunctions.
• Western CO. reserves the right to operate remotely (if the inverter is connected to the internet), to make
changes or updates that improve the functions of the system without prior notice to the customer.
Tolerance of readings
The data provided by the inverter may differ from readings taken by certified measuring instruments (e.g.
production meters, multimeters, grid analysers) because the inverter has wider tolerances on the readings taken
since it is not a measuring instrument.
In general, the tolerances are:
±5% for real-time readings with output power below 20%
±3% for real-time readings with output power above 20%
±4% for all statistical data.
