NOTICE
• Ensure that the coolant supply and return hoses have been correctly installed.
Coolant supply = blue, coolant return = red
• For liquid-cooled welding torches, we recommend using ABICOR BINZEL BTC coolant.
• To ensure the maximum cooling capacity, check the condition of the coolant regularly.
NOTICE
• Dirt in the coolant can damage the cooling unit.
• Use the coolant filter (included) to prevent damage to the cooling unit.
• ABICOR BINZEL does not accept any liability for damage caused when using the cooling unit without the coolant
filter.
6.3.1 Bleeding the system
Optimum cooling is only guaranteed if the entire cooling system has been bled. Bleed the entire cooling system as follows
when used for the first time and after every cable assembly replacement:
1 Connect the intermediate cable assembly coolant hoses to the cooling unit and make sure that the entire coolant circuit
is closed.
2 Switch on the cooling unit on the front of the device.
3 Disconnect the coolant return hose from the cooling unit and hold it over a collection receptacle.
4 Close the coolant return hose and release it again by repeatedly and abruptly opening it.
NOTICE
• Repeat this procedure until the coolant drains out continuously and without any air bubbles.
• Check the minimum fill level on the cooling unit.
• Check the tightness of the connectors and nozzles to prevent coolant leakage!
5 Reconnect the coolant return hose.
6 Check the coolant fill level.

7 Operation

NOTICE
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding components and welding torch.
7.1 Before initially putting into operation and following long periods of non-use
1 Check that coolant pump can move freely.
2 Check the tightness of the coolant connections.
3 In case of leakages, tighten the hose clips at leak points using pliers or retighten screw terminals using a screwdriver.

8 Putting out of operation

NOTICE
• When putting the system out of operation, ensure that the procedures for switching off each of the welding system
components are observed.
