If the Mobile Panel is not handled correctly or not mounted correctly in the wall bracket, the HMI device can fall. This can
result in personal injury or property damage.
Observe the information on handling the HMI device in the operating instructions.
Check the integrity of an HMI device that has accidentally fallen. Replace a damaged HMI device without delay.

Personal injury or property damage in conjunction with the connection cable
A connection cable lying on the ground or not properly mounted in the wall bracket poses a tripping hazard and can be
exposed to increased mechanical stress. This can result in personal injury or property damage.
Observe the notes on handling the connection cable in the operating instructions. Check the integrity of the connection
cable regularly. Replace a damaged connection cable without delay.
IP65 degree of protection
WARNING
Personal injury or property damage due to damaged seals or open plug-in connections
In the properly mounted state and with inserted connection cable, the overall system "Mobile Panel 2nd Generation" has
IP65 degree of protection. If device seals are damaged, for example, during maintenance work, or if interfaces are exposed,
moisture or liquids can enter the devices. Personal injury or property damage caused by a short circuit or electric shock may
result.
Check the devices and their seals for integrity before assembly. Take care not to damage the device seals during assembly
and maintenance work.
Only operate the Mobile Panel with properly mounted connection compartment cover and attached sealing cap of the USB
interface. Make sure that the connection cable is properly connected to the connection box. Attach the sealing cap to the
connection socket in connection boxes that are not connected with a Mobile Panel.
