INSTRUCTIONS FOR GRASS
TRIMMERS
▪ Grass trimmers must not be operated by children
or persons not trained in the operation of these
tools.
▪ Wear sturdy shoes or boots to protect your feet.
▪ Wear long trousers to protect your legs.
▪ Inspect the appliance before use. Do not use the
appliance if it is damaged.
▪ If the appliance is damaged, have it repaired by an
authorised repairer.
▪ Do not use the appliance in the presence of
children and/or animals.
▪ Only use the appliance in the daytime or under
good lighting.
▪ Never use the appliance without the safety
features.
▪ Before using the appliance, remove twigs, stones,
wire and any other obstacle from the working area.
▪ Only use the appliance in a vertical position, with
the cutting line pointing towards the ground. Never
tilt the appliance into a different position.
▪ Always keep hands and feet away from the cutting
line.
▪ Avoid touching the cutting line.
▪ Before putting down the appliance, switch it off and
wait until the cutting line stops completely on its
own. Never attempt to stop the cutting line yourself.
Please note that the appliance
continues to run for a short
time after being switched off.
▪ Only use the type of cutting line recommended by
the manufacturer. Never use cutting lines made of
metal or fishing line.
▪ After use, always safely store the appliance, out of
reach of children.

SAFETY WARNING CONCERNING
THE BLOWER
Do not place any objects in the openings. Do
not use the blower if one of the openings is
obstructed; keep it away from dust, fluff, hair, and
anything that could reduce airflow.
Keep your hair, any loose clothing, fingers and
all other parts of your body away from the openings
and the moving parts.
Be particularly careful when cleaning stairs.
Do not use the blower to gather flammable
liquids or fuels, such as petrol/gasoline, or in zones
where these products could be present.
Remove all hard objects from the working area.
Do not blow debris towards persons, animals or
buildings.
Only use the supplied accessories. Leave the
protective features in place and keep them in
working order.
Leave the labels and rating plates on the
appliance. These contain important safety
information.
Persons with pacemakers must consult their
doctor(s) before using this appliance.
Electromagnetic fields in proximity to a pacemaker
could provoke interference or a failure of the
pacemaker.
