6. START UP INSTRUCTIONS

6.1. LIST OF MATERIALS

This machine includes the following elements that you
will find inside the box:
• Machine.
• Guard.
• Guard screws (x2).
• Wheel guide.
• Instructions manual.
Carefully remove all items from the box and make
sure that all listed items are present.
Inspect the product carefully to ensure that there are
no damaged elements. If you find any damaged or
missing parts, do not use the machine until the defect
has been repaired or until you havve all the necessary
pieces of which the device consists. Using the
machine with defective or missing pieces can cause
severe personal injury.
6.2. ASSEMBLY
6.2.1. ASSEMBLY OF THE GUARD
Place the protector as shown in the figure, matching
the notches and turning it afterwards. Insert the 2
screws and tighten.
6.2.3. CHANGING THE NYLON STRING
Remove the lower cover by pressing the 2 tabs. Take
the empty thread spool out of its housing and remove
all the remaining thread.
Cut approximately 12 meters of nylon line. (At first you
will find it easier to practice with a shorter string.)
Take the ends of the thread, fold it in half, insert it
into the spool housing (1) and wind the 2 ends of
the thread in the same direction each along its track
(direction marked by the arrow).
Block the end of each thread in the two grooves (2).
Reinsert the bobbin in its seat and place the ends of
the wires in the wire outlet holes (4).
