OPERATING THE PIZZA OVEN
WITH THE GAS MODULE
1.
Screw the gas hose onto the screw connection of the gas unit by hand, as
described above under CONNECTING THE GAS BOTTLE.
2. Do a leak test, as described above under LEAK TEST.
3. Open the battery compartment counterclockwise and insert an AA bat-
tery (make sure the poles are in the correct position).
4. Screw the battery compartment cover in clockwise to close it.
ATTENTION: The ignition electrode is battery-operated. Incorrect
handling of batteries creates the risk of fire and explosion.
Leaking battery acid can burn skin and damage parts.
Observe the manufacturer's safety instructions for handling batteries.
Do not throw batteries into a fire, don't short-circuit them or destroy them
in any other way.
Remove the battery if you're not using the device for extended periods.
Wear protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
SWITCHING ON THE PIZZA OVEN
ATTENTION: The pizza oven door must always be open when
igniting the burner.
1.
Open the pizza oven door.
2. Turn the large control knob anti-clockwise to the
"OFF" position.
3. Open the gas cylinder valve and use a leak de-
tection spray or soapy water to check for leaks
between the gas pressure regulator and the gas
cylinder, as described under LEAK TEST.
4. NOTE: Ignition is electronic; an AA battery is re-
quired. Press the control knob on the gas unit and
keep it pressed down while turning it counter
