• Disconnect all cables from the SERVOPACK before installing the safety module.

• Do not apply any impact to the safety module.

• Protect the safety module from moisture.
Failure to observe this caution may result in malfunction.
• Do not touch the connector or electronic components on the safety module. Hold
the product along its edges when installing.

• Do not place any object on the safety module.

• Avoid direct contact with any object that has not had antistatic treatment.

• Make sure that your clothing is not in contact with the safety module.

• Do not tighten the screws with excessive torque. The recommended tightening

The functional safety specialist who is assigned to carry out the assembly must have the
knowledge and training which is necessary to perform this work properly. He must be able to
understand and use the safety instructions attached to the device and its components as well as
the connections.
