SYMPTOM
Burner is smoking
Burner interrupts during operation
Water does not reach working temperature.
No detergent supply.
Descale device does not work.
9 - TROUBLE SHOOTING
CAUSE
Water in the fuel tank
Fuel pressure is incorrect
Air throttle improperly adjusted
Electrodes improperly positioned
Fuel nozzle is dirty
Fuel nozzle is worn or damaged
Heating coil is blocked by soot
Fuel pump is dirty
Fuel solenoid valve is not functioning
Fuel tank is empty (In this case the burner
will produce a high amount of white smoke
before stopping)
Suction filter is dirty
Water in the fuel
Pressure switch is not functioning
Ignition transformer faulty
Rotation of the electrodes
Fuel nozzle is dirty
Fuel nozzle is worn
Fuel pump is faulty
Fuel solenoid valve is defective
Fuse burnt out
Thermostat adjusted too low.
Thermostat is defective.
Scale build up in the water circuit.
Burner sooted.
Empty detergent tank.
Detergent valve stuck.
Intake hose and/or filter dirty.
Descale bottle is empty.
liquid does not drop. (connections are bloc-
ked due to long storage of the unit).
Electronic programmer is damaged.

REMEDY
Empty the fuel tank, clean and refill with
clean fuel.
If the pressure is too low, with a screwdriver
turn the adjusting screw clockwise, until
obtaining around 10 bar (147 PSI). Vice ver-
sa if too high. Contact Maintenance Service.
By means of the air control, close the gap
until the soot just stops forming. Contact
Maintenance Service.
Regulate the distance between electrodes as
indicated on the attached diagram. It is com-
pulsory to contact the Maintenance Service.
Clean the fuel nozzle
Replace the fuel nozzle
Clean the heating coil
Dismantle the pump and clean the filter.
Contact Maintenance Service .
Replace the solenoid valve
Refill the fuel tank
Remove the filter from tank and clean it by
shaking it in a container of fuel, with the aid
of a brush.
Empty the fuel tank, clean and refill with
clean fuel
Check for possible water leakages from the
hydraulic part of the pressure switch, or a
fault in the electric part. Replace the dama-
ged part. Contact Maintenance Service
Replace the transformer
Set the electrodes back to their proper posi-
tion, as indicated on the attached diagram.
Contact Maintenance Service.
Clean the fuel nozzle
Replace the fuel nozzle
Replace fuel pump
Replace fuel solenoid valve
Verify which fuse it is, and replace it
Readjust thermostat to the required tempe-
rature.
Replace the thermostat. Contact Maintenan-
ce Service.
