From pool
Rinse:
When this position is selected
the water will flow in the same
direction used during filtration,
compacting the sand filter bed
that was broken up during the
wash, whilst sending the water to
the drain. This is a very short
process (see the sight glass on
the selector valve). Once the
rinse is complete, stop the motor
again and select the filter position
on the selector valve.

7. FILTRATION

After selecting the filter position with the motor stopped, re-start the motor
to continue normal operation in filtration mode.
If after re-starting the motor you observe brusque movements on the
pressure gauge, this means that air has become trapped inside the installation.
You will therefore need to check and adjust the different connectors,
connection nuts, fittings, etc. or the cover of the pump's pre-filter basket to
find the source of the intake of air and restore stability.

The main drain intake and skimmer valves should be opened as required,
depending on whether you require a higher intake from skimmers to
provide faster cleaning/sweeping of the surface or increased bottom
intake for faster filtration of the mass of water. This setting should be
determined by the user based on the situation or the quality of water at any
time during the filtration cycle.
Stop the motor and clean the filter whenever the pressure gauge indicates
or exceeds a value of 1.0.
Operating times:
Operating times can be divided into two groups, e.g. morning and evening. There
are no strict rules, so operating times should be decided based on the requirements
and circumstances of each user. We recommend adding any chemical products
required during evening operating times, since the system will help to dissolve and
evenly distribute the chemicals in the water. In addition, since swimmers rarely use
the pool in the evening, they will not be affected by the increased residual level
of the chemicals and the products will also be more effective when used in the
absence of solar rays.

8. USING THE POOL CLEANER

Both a manual and an automatic pool cleaner can be used to clean the pool,
but this section describes how to use a manual pool cleaner.
A manual pool cleaner comprises a suction/sweeper head, a floating hose to
prevent it from dragging along the floor and disturbing any debris present,
and a pole that allows us to move the sweeper head from the side of the
pool.
Immerse the head in the pool using the pole in a position that is close to the
place where you will connect the hose (the pool cleaner connection nozzle
[see installation diagram] or a skimmer). Immerse the hose vertically to expel
any air inside it and once it is completely submerged, connect it to the nozzle.
