Intended Use

❐ This device is intended to be used to make pad-coffee.
❐ The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate re-
mote control system.
❐ This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as persons with im-
paired physical, sensory or mental capacities or those lacking experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in how to safely use the
device and have understood the risks associated with operating the device. Chil-
dren may not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
performed by children.

away from children and animals.
❐ CAUTION Danger of scalding! Hot steam is produced when the device is in use. You
should therefore not open the water reservoir cover and the compartment for coffee
pad during use.
❐ CAUTION Danger of scalding! Keep your face, head and hands away from the water
reservoir cover and the compartment for coffee pad during use. Hot steam will es-
cape from the slots in the cover. You may scald yourself on the hot steam.
❐ CAUTION: Danger of burns! Parts of the device and the ceramic pot become hot
during use. Avoid contact with hot parts of the device and only pick up the coffee
cup by the handle.
❐ The device should not be used if it is damaged.
