Thank you for choosing a CARO Digital MA ® system by ten Haaft.
The manual satellite-reception system was developed for the mobile use in vehicles
and is described on the following pages.
Precondition for the proper use of the CARO Digital MA ® is the installation of the
whole system, in accordance with the assembly instruction sheet.
This operation manual describes the detailed use of the receiver and the crank mast.
The scope of delivery of the CARO Digital MA ® contains a fl at antenna, a sturdy
crank mast and the digital D5000 receiver with intelligent satellite recognition.
The robust CARO® fl at antenna has proven itself over years of application. It is hail
resistant and provides strong reception.
The D5000MA receiver provides a high level of comfortable operation and wide
variety of programs in fi rst class fashion. The intelligent satellite recognition is sup-
ported by optical and acoustic indicators.
On the following pages you will fi nd the general operating instructions for the
receiver and detailed explanations of all operating functions.
Every experienced owner of motorhomes and caravans knows how diffi cult the
manual adjustment of an antenna is, especially since the age of digital reception.
This is why our main focus of attention during the development stage was ease of
use and fast handling.
