presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the product.
This symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous
voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to
constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
WARNING
Indicates in combination with a safety sign a potentially hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
Important safety instructions
1) Read these instructions.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, this apparatus shall not be exposed to rain
or moisture, dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases,
should not be placed on this apparatus.
WARNING
Never place a loudspeaker in an unstable location. A loudspeaker may fall, causing
serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided
by taking simple precautions such as:
– Using stands recommended by the manufacturer of the loudspeaker.
– Only using furniture that can safely support the loudspeaker.
– Ensuring the loudspeaker is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
– Not placing the loudspeaker on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases)
without anchoring both the furniture and the loudspeaker to a suitable support.
– Not placing cloth or other smooth materials between the loudspeaker and
supporting furniture.
– Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the
loudspeaker or its controls.
If the existing loudspeaker is going to be retained and relocated, the same
considerations as above should be applied.
WARNING
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! DO NOT OPEN!
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the back panel and do not expose
the apparatus to rain or moisture.
No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
FCC / IC NOTICE (ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY)
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules / Industry Canada licence-exempt
RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device
may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
– Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
– Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an
antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by
Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna
type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power
(e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication.
CAUTION
Hot rear surface
When playing at maximum volume for more than 1 hour the rear surface of the
speaker can get hot. Wait 30 minutes after switching off before handling the speakers.
