9. Appliance-specific information

The appliance specific instructions, as described in this chapter, have precedence over the instructions in the
!CAUTION
other chapters! In case of doubt, observe the instructions in chapter 9, or contact your supplier.
The appliance-specific information as described in sections 9.1 to 9.4, applies to all models described in this
manual. Additional installation instructions (per appliance) are described in section 9.5.
9.1 Air slide and outdoor air connection

9.1.1 Air slide

When installing and maintaining the appliance, check the operation of the air slide (see appendix 2, fig. 3). It is
possible that steel grit ended up in the air slide during transportation. If the air slide does not run smoothly, it has
to be cleaned. For this, the air slide should be disassembled.
When disassembling the air slide, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 3):
In the case of all Bora appliances, an outdoor air connection has been mounted. It should be removed first, before

the air slide can be disassembled.

Unscrew the 8 pre-mounted bolts from the bottom side of the tray in which the air slide is located.
Ø
Check the air slide valve and clean it if necessary.
For placing back the air slide, the actions described for disassembling should be performed in reverse order.

9.1.2 Outdoor air connection

In the case of all Bora appliances, the outdoor air connection is pre-mounted. At the bottom of the appliances
there is a pipe mouth. Connect a flexible pipe with a 80 mm internal diameter to this mouth.
The connection of the outdoor air is not exactly below the rotating point. In case of a rotatable appliance, keep

this into account when determining the length and position of the flexible tube. In the case of those appliances,
connect the outdoor air connection in such a way that the appliance remains able to rotate smoothly.
First test the length and position of the flexible tube, before proceeding with the installation.

9.2 Inner lining

9.2.1 Wall and bottom lining

The plates are located at the bottom and against the back and side walls of the appliance (see appendix 2, fig. 5).
When the plates are replaced, they have to be removed. The bottom plates are removed first, then the side walls
and finally the back walls.
Placing the plates takes place in reverse order.
Make sure that the plates are placed back in their original position! The back plate should be placed with the

small, not recessed, holes visibly at the front.
