Ceiling made of concrete:
When placing the fire in case of a concrete ceiling, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 16, 17 and 18):
Ø
A sliding pipe (0.5 metre long) is supplied with the appliance. Ensure that the pipe starts at the bottom of the
double-walled duct and protrudes approximately 150 mm from the ceiling (fig. 16-9).
Ø
Determine the position of the flue exhaust based on appendix 2, fig. 18.
Ø
Slide the ceiling plate (fig. 16-6) over the sliding pipe (fig. 16-9) against the ceiling and mark out the 4 (recessed)
fastening holes.
Ø
Drill the 4 holes and push the supplied key bushes (fig. 16-8) in the ceiling.
Ø
Push the threaded rods (fig. 16-4) through the outer holes of the ceiling plate.
Ø
Screw the 4 flange nuts (fig. 16-7) over the threaded rods.
Ø
Pick it all up and fasten it to the ceiling using the 4 Allen screws (fig. 16-5).
Ø
Place the appliance, using a lift table or scissor jack, under the threaded rods (fig. 16-4) and screw the 4 threaded
rods into the appliance.
When screwing in, make sure the threaded rods are not screwed out of the flange nuts.
!Caution
You can prevent this by slightly lifting the unit (appliance, threaded rods and flange nuts) when screwing in the
threaded rods.
Ø
Use a water level to check whether the appliance is suspended horizontally.
Ø
Remove the flame baffle plate (see section 9.2.2).
Ø
Place the reducer (fig. 17-2) in the exhaust of the appliance and bend the strips, so that the connecting piece is
properly tight.
When placing the reducer, ensure that the hole in the reducer is at the rear.
!Tip
Ø
Bend the supplied flexible pipe (fig. 17-3) in such a way, that an s-bend is created. The excess length is
approximately 20%.
Handle the flexible pipe carefully, so that no dents are made.
!Caution
Absolutely do not shorten the flexible pipe! It should be mounted between the upper plate and the appliance,
!Caution
with tension.
Ø
First slide the flexible pipe over the connecting pipe (fig. 17-9) and then in the reduction of the appliance.
The flexible pipe is now clamped and can be fixed with a self-tapping screw at the rear, both at the top and at the
bottom.
Ø

Ø
Place back the flame baffle plate (see appendix 2, fig. 4 and 6)).
