9.4 Glass pane

9.4.1 Assembly/disassembly of glass pane in door

For removing and then re-assembling the glass pane you must observe the following instructions
(see appendix 2, fig. 7).
Disassembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift out the door by sliding it upwards.
Ø
Place the door on a flat surface.
Ø
Unscrew the nuts.
Use penetrating oil to loosen the nuts.

Ø
Remove the frame.
Ø
Lift the glass pane out. The pane seal is also taken out.
Also check if the door seal should be replaced (see section 9.3.1).

Assembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Mount the glass pane and place back the door by performing the steps mentioned for disassembling the glass
pane in reverse order.
Use the supplied glass pane cleaner to remove fingerprints from the glass pane(s).

9.5 Supplementary installation instructions per appliance

9.5.1 Bora Wall

9.5.1.1 Placing the appliance

This appliance should be suspended from a wall.
The Bora Wall should only be mounted to a vertical wall made of solid, non-combustible and heat resistant

The flue exhaust (niche bus or connection piece suitable for 150 mm SS pipe) in the ceiling should be 153 cm from

the centre to the wall. In all other cases, bends should be used.
When placing the fire, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 9 and 10):

Determine the position of the wall plate and mark it out on the wall (fig. 10-4). The recommended height is
930 mm (fig. 9 A), measured from the top of the wall bracket (= 450 mm from the bottom side of the appliance to
the floor, fig. 9 B).
When determining the position of the wall plate, maintain a minimum height of 780 mm (fig. 9 A)

(= 300 mm from the bottom side of the appliance to the floor, (fig. 9 B)!
Ø
Drill holes in the wall and fasten the wall plate using the supplied key bushes (fig. 10-3) and key bolts (fig. 10-2).
Make sure everything is mounted level and that the wall plate is centrally located under the flue exhaust in the

ceiling.
Prior to placing the appliance, remove the door and flame baffle plate (see section 9.2.2) to avoid damage and

make installation easier.
Ø
Hang the appliance over the lip of the wall plate.
Ø
Place the flue pipe (fig. 10-5) around the pre-mounted conical ring. If necessary, place the rosette.

9.5.1.2 Flue exhaust

In the case of the Bora Wall, the flue exhaust has a connection with a 150 mm diameter. The flue exhaust can be
connected to the conical exhaust ring in two ways: dewatering and non-dewatering.
Here, you should use the correct connection pieces.
In case of a dewatering connection, different connection pieces are used than in case of a non-dewatering

The required connection pieces are available via your supplier.
