STORAGE

• If you are storing the machine in an enclosed area, empty the fuel as the vapours may come into contact with a
hot flame or body and ignite. If the fuel tank has to be emptied, this should be done outdoors and in accordance
with recycling regulations.
• Remove the fuel from the tank and start the engine until it stops naturally.
• To reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, muffler and fuel tank clean by removing any cuttings, oil and grease.
Use a dry cloth to dry any fuel that has spilled outside the unit.
• Remove the spark plug and add 1-2cc of 2-stroke engine oil. Pull the starter cord 2 - 3 times, place the piston
back and stop it in the exhaust position.
• Apply anti-corrosion oil to metal parts such as the throttle cable, etc. Put the cover on the blades and keep the
hedge trimmer in a closed, dry place.

RECICLYING AND DISPOSING

When you decide to get rid of the machine, make sure to follow the local regulation.
Please help us to protect the environment and to preserve natural resources.
Get rid of the machine taking care of the environment. Do not simply throw it away in the domestic bin. Please
separate plastic and steel to recycle. Take this device to an authorised recycling centre. (Green point)
Petrol, used oil, oil/petrol mixtures, as well as objects stained with petrol (e.g.: cloths) must not be disposed of into the
domestic waste, pipes, soil, rivers, lakes or the sea. All objects stained with oil must be disposed of according to the
local regulations: take it to the most suitable recycling centre.
Package materials are recyclables. Please, throw them away on the appropriate rubbish bin.

GUARANTEE

GREENCUT guarantees a 2 years warrantee for all its products (valid in Europe). This guarantee is subject to the
purchasing date and taking into consideration the purpose of use of the product.
In order to claim your guarantee, you must present your receipt of purchase and its description, as well as the defective
product.
The guarantee does not cover wear and tear, especially of blades, blade elements, turbines, lighting sources, vent or
transmission belts, propellers, air filters, spark plugs and/or damages caused due to improper use of the machine,
especially due to failure of following the operation and maintenance instructions.
The guarantee is also excluded when non GREENCUT original or not-adequate assembly accessories or parts have
been used on the product.
In the event of a justified guarantee claim, we are authorised, as per our criteria, to repair or replace the faulty tool
free of charge. Claims beyond those described in this guarantee will be invalid.
