UNFORESEEN REACTIONS WHILE OPERATING WITH HEDGE TRIMMERS: BACKWARD MOVEMENT
A dangerous reaction could occur if moving blades contact a solid object in a critical area. This is called regression.
As a result, the operator may lose control of the unit, which can cause severe damage. To prevent backdown, strictly
follow the following safety precautions:
-
Hold the hedge trimmer firmly with both hands and with your thumbs and fingers wrapped around the
handles of the saw and position your body and arms to allow it to withstand unexpected forces. Do not
extend your arms too far and do not cut above shoulder height.
-
Keep blades away from poles, cables and rocks to prevent kickback and blade damage.
-
Keep the blades in good condition. Sharp and clean.
-
When using hedge trimmers, never look away. If necessary, leave the throttle trigger in the idle position.
-
Do not let the hedge trimmer come near your feet or lift it above your waist.
