Inserting Diamand Cup Wheels
Select a suitable diamond cup wheel for the
material to be worked. Please also observe the
material information on the packaging of the
diamond cup wheel.
Clean the grinder spindle 9 and all parts to be
mounted.
Place the mounting flange 10 on the grinder
spindle 9 so that the centering collar faces away
from the machine. The mounting flange must
engage on the flats of the grinder spindle (anti-
twist protection).
An O-ring (plastic part) is in-
serted in the mounting flange
10 around the centering collar.
If the O-ring is missing or is
damaged, it must in all cases
be replaced (article number
1 600 210 039) before the
mounting flange 10 is mounted.
Place the diamond cup wheel 11 on the mount-
ing flange 10. Pay attention that the direction-of-
rotation arrow on the diamond cup wheel
agrees with the direction-of-rotation arrow on
the guard and extraction hood 1.
Press the spindle lock button 3 to lock the grind-
ing spindle.
Screw on the clamping nut 12 and tighten it with
the two-pin wrench 14.
Pay attention that the collar of the clamping nut
12 faces away from the machine, as shown in
the figure.
After mounting the diamond cup wheel and
before switching on, check that the diamond
cup wheel is correctly mounted and that it
can turn freely. Make sure that the diamond
cup wheel does not graze against the guard
and extraction hood or other parts.

Do not touch diamond cup wheels before
they have cooled. Diamand cup wheels be-

come very hot while working.
Press the spindle lock button 3 to lock the grind-
ing spindle.
Actuate the spindle lock button only when
the grinder spindle is at a standstill. Other-
wise, the power tool may become damaged.
Loosen the clamping nut 12 with the two-pin
wrench 14 and unscrew the clamping nut. Re-
move the diamond cup wheel 11.
Quick-clamping Nut
For convenient changing of grinding tools with-
out the use of additional tools, you can use the
quick-clamping nut 13 instead of the clamping
nut 12.
Use only a flawless, undamaged quick-
clamping nut 13.
When screwing on, pay attention that the
side of the quick-clamping nut 13 with print-
ing does not face the diamond cutting disc;
the arrow must point to the index mark 15.
in counterclockwise direction. Never loosen a
tight quick-clamping nut with pliers. Always use
the two-pin wrench 14.
