CONTROL PANEL LAYOUT

The layout of the rotary controls for the operation of
the induction hob is shown below. The facia shows
all the controls for the hob/grill and ovens. Please
refer to the section on ovens controls for the correct
operation of the oven controls.

The layout of the induction hob is as shown in the
diagram below.

Your Induction hob consists of 5 Induction cooking
zones. Each cooking area is independently operated
by a control knob located on the facia of the range
cooker.

The Hob Control Display at the front centre of the
hob area informs you of the Induction hob functions
with the following symbols:
H Hot Hob Indicator
P Power Boost Setting
U Pan Recognition – also known
as "Pan Missing"
A Automatic Heat up
L Child Lock
U Low Temperature Setting

Induction
H – Hot hob Indicator
Each cooking zone of your induction hob has a
residual heat indicator to inform you that the area is
hot from cooking. The symbol "H" will be shown in
the hob control display. This indicates that the hob is
hot.
WARNING:
EVEN WHEN THE INDICATORS GO OUT,
THE SURFACE MAY NOT HAVE COOLED
COMPLETELY.
P - Power Boost Setting
All of the induction cooking zones have Power Boost
available, activated by turning the control knob
clockwise until P is shown on the hob control display.
Power Boost allows additional power to be made
available for each of the cooking areas. This is
useful to bring a large pan of water to the boil quickly.
The Power Boost function operates for a maximum
of 10 minutes on each zone, after which the power is
automatically reduced to setting 9.
When using the Power Boost function, the cooking
areas are paired.
The table below shows the areas that are paired.
Areas A and B are paired together as are areas D
and E.
