• Never allow children to play with packaging foil
because there is a risk of suffocation.
CAUTION! Please never fill the water tank
with detergent. This can cause damage to the
appliance. Never immerse the steam cleaner in water.
Always disconnect the mains plug from the plug box
before you clean or service the appliance. Only stow
away the steam cleaner after it has completely
cooled down.
CAUTION! Risk of scolding! Always discon-
nect the mains plug from the plug box before
filling the water tank.
• When you take a break please always disconnect
the mains plug from the plug box and make sure
that your hands are dry. Never tug on the cable but
always pull out the plug itself.
• The steam cleaner is only for use indoors and for
household purposes. It is not suitable for commercial
use.
• Never expose the appliance to extreme sunshine,
frost or other influences of weather (rain, etc.).
• Should the steam cleaner not function perfectly at
some time please check whether the appliance has
been connected up correctly and assembled properly
by referring to these instructions.
• Never clean electrical appliances and equipment
such as baking ovens, microwave units, refrigerators,
switches and lamps with the steam cleaner for safety
reasons.
• Make sure that the details given on the rating plate
comply with the connections in your home. The steam
cleaner is only suitable for connection to 230 volt AC,
50 Hz.
• Always use the telescopic handle to carry the appli-
ance.
• Never place the appliance close to the heater or an
oven.
• Please only use the supplied accessories when using
the appliance.
• Only fill the water tank with distilled water (only use
tap water as a temporary measure). Please always
observe the "MAXIMUM FILL LINE" on the measuring
beaker and never overfill the water tank with water.
You should also check the water left in the water tank
to prevent risk of overfilling.
• Always make sure that the mains power cable does
not get caught up in doors, pieces of furniture or other
equipment. Protect the cable from heat, sharp edges
and oil.
• Never sit or stand on the steam cleaner.
