Touch Display Controller – KWL-BE Touch
1.1

Basic information

In order to ensure complete and effective operation and for your own safety, all of the
following instructions should be read carefully and observed. The relevant national stan-
dards, safety regulations and instructions (e.g. DIN EN VDE 0100) as well as the techni-
cal connection conditions of the energy supply company must be observed and applied.
This document is part of the product and should be kept accessible as such and perma-
nenently kept to ensure safe operation. After the final assembly, the document must be
issued to the operator (tenant/owner).

The adjacent symbols are safety-relevant prominent warning symbols. All warning
instructions and safety regulations in this document must be absolutely adhered
to, so that any dangerous situations and risks of injury are prevented!

Area of application

The controller KWL-BE Touch is designed for manually controlling KWL
lable KWL units with the easyControls 3.0 control system can be manually controlled
with the controller.
1.4

Personnel qualification

The electrical connections and electrical commissioning as well as maintenance work
may only be carried out by specialist electricians.
Installation work may only be carried out by trained specialists (e.g. industrial mechanics,
mechatronics engineers, ventilation fitters or persons with comparable education).
2.1

Shipping

The unit is packed ex works in such a way that it is protected against normal transport
strain. The shipping must be carried out carefully.
When transshipping (especially over longer distances), check that the packaging is ade-
quate for the method and manner of transportation. Damage caused by improper trans-
portation, storage or commissioning must be verified and is not covered by warranty.
2.2

Receipt

The shipment must be checked for damage and correctness immediately upon delivery.
If there is any damage, promptly report the damage by consulting the transport com-
pany. If complaints are not made within the agreed period, any potential claims will not
be valid.
2.3

Storage

It is recommended to leave the product in the original packaging before installation to
prevent any possible damage and contamination.
