Searching for the Beginning of Recorded
Scenes
(Scene Index Search)
¡ Press the [VCR/CAM] Button on the Camera Recorder
so that the [VCR] Lamp lights.
¡ Set [INDEX] on the Menu to [SCENE]. (m 63, 66)
Scene Index Search in Forward Direction
Press the Index Button [;] 1 on the Remote
Controller.
Scene Index Search in Reverse Direction
Press the Index Button [:] 2 on the Remote
Controller.
¡ When you briefly press the corresponding button once,
the [S1] Indication appears and the search for the next
scene marked with an index signal starts. After the
Scene Index Search has started, every time you press
the button, the indication changes successively from
[S2] to [S9], and the beginning of the scene
corresponding to the selected number is located. 3
After reaching the desired scene, playback starts
automatically. (At a time, Scene Index Search in
forward or reverse direction is possible up to the ninth
scene marked with index signal from the present tape
position.)
♦ If the interval between two scene index signals is less
than 1 minute, the Scene Index Search may not work
correctly.
♦ The Scene Index Search may not work correctly for
scenes recorded near the beginning of the tape.
¡ If you keep the [:] or [;] Button pressed for more
than 2 seconds, the Intro Search Function is activated
and it plays back the beginning of all scenes marked
with an index signal on the cassette one after another
for a few seconds each.
(To cancel the Intro Search Function, press the Play
Button [E] 4 or the Stop Button [B] 5.)

¡ Appuyer sur la touche [VCR/CAM] du caméscope de
manière que le témoin [VCR] s'alllume.
¡ Régler l'élément [INDEX] du menu sur [SCENE].

Repérage d'index de séquence vers l'avant
Appuyer sur la touche d'index [;] 1 de la
télécommande.
Repérage d'index de séquence vers l'arrière
Appuyer sur la touche d'index [:] 2 de la
télécommande.
¡ Lorsqu'on appuie une fois brièvement sur la touche
correspondante, l'indication [S1] apparaît et le repérage de la
séquence suivante marquée d'un signal d'index commence.
Une fois que le repérage d'index de séquence a commencé,
à chaque pression sur la touche, l'indication passe
successivement de [S2] à [S9], et le début de la séquence
correspondant au numéro choisi est repéré. 3 Après que la
séquence désirée a été atteinte, la lecture s'enclenche
automatiquement. (En une seule fois, le repérage d'index de
séquence vers l'avant ou vers l'arrière est possible jusqu'à la
neuvième séquence marquée d'un signal d'index à partir de
la position de ruban actuelle.)
♦ Si l'écart entre deux signaux d'index de séquence est
inférieur à une minute, il est possible que le repérage
d'index de séquence ne fonctionne pas correctement.
♦ Il est possible que le repérage d'index de séquence ne
fonctionne pas correctement pour les séquences
enregistrées près du début du ruban.
¡ Si l'on maintient la touche [:] ou [;] enfoncée
pendant plus de deux secondes, la fonction repérage
d'intro est activée et elle effectue la lecture du début de
toutes les séquences marquées d'un signal d'index sur
la cassette individuellement pendant quelques
secondes chacune. (Pour annuler la fonction repérage
d'intro, appuyer sur la touche de lecture [¤] 4 ou sur
la touche d'arrêt [B] 5.)
