exceeded.
In accordance with STVZO (German Traffic Regulations), the maxi-
mum legal limit for an trailer without brakes is 40 kg laden weight.
The trailer must not be subjected to any unauthorised manipulation or
modifications, and no fittings of any kind may be mounted, unless expli-
citly approved by the manufacturer. Parts pre-assembled by the manu-
facturer may be removed or replaced only by the factory or by an aut-
horised cycle specialist. The manufacturer rejects all liability for acci-
dents and faults of any kind resulting from improper use.
Accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for the Leggero Twist. Ask your
dealer or contact the manufacturer for information on the available
accessories, or request the current list.
Separate coupling units are available as accessories for use on a second
bicycle.

Safety notes

Read the following safety notes carefully.
Please observe the legal regulations and recommendations on the use
of bicycle trailers and the transport of children and goods, applica-
ble in the country in which the bicycle trailer is to be used.
In addition, you should find out about the relevant regulations in any
other countries you may wish to visit with the trailer.
Caution: Risk of accident! To avoid accidents and dangerous situati-
ons, it is essential to comply with the following safety rules:
• The trailer must never be used with a motorised vehicle.
• The Leggero Twist must be coupled to the cycle only using the sup-
plied, coupling unit.
• To safeguard against the risk of accident and/or injury, children must
always be fastened in with the height-adjustable seatbelts provided.
These must be adjusted to the size of the child. If only one child is
being carried, we recommend you seat the child in a central position.
Wearing a cycle helmet is strongly recommended (observe the regula-
tions applicable in the relevant country).
• Do not transport children younger than 1 year old in the trai-
ler.
• Never leave children unattended in the trailer.
• To ensure sufficient rollover protection, the children trans-
ported in the trailer must have adequate headroom (recom-
mendation: at least 5 cm). The top of the child's head, inclu-
ding protective headgear, must not be over the maximum
height mark in the trailer (fig. 2).
• In bright sunlight, the inside of the trailer can become very
hot if the cover is closed, and this can be dangerous for the children
inside.
• To prevent the ingress of spray and the penetration of loose objects, fit
a spray guard to the bicycle. A cover (rain or sun shield) offers addi-
tional safety.
• We recommend attaching rear mirrors to the bicycle.
The cover included in the delivery contents must be fitted when the
trailer is in use.
