PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

2.1. Global operation

The product has several operating modes:
The
sigfox REFERENCE TRANSMITTER
is not powered, ie in the OFF state. On power up, the product starts with an initialization phase and goes into ON
state which corresponds to the operating mode.
In the OPERATING MODE, the
settings and sends frames according to its current configuration. From this mode, it is possible to switch to COM-
MAND MODE. The product also maintains an ON (low battery) state that indicates a low battery level and a FAULT
state that indicates a product failure.

DIP switch

2.2. DIP switch
The product has a DIP switch with 4 contacts as shown in the previous picture. It allows to configure the class and
the transmission period of the product.
Note: the switch n°4 is not used.
2.2.1

CLASS configuration

The product allows the configuration of the 4 types of sigfox uplink classes :0, 1, 2 and 3 as shown in the below
table:
Class 0 (12 dBm)
Class 1 (7 dBm)
Class 2 (0 dBm)
Class 3 (-5 dBm)
