Mounting the protective profile

Screw down the protective profile (1)
of the timing belt side drive to the end

•
Lightly oil the tensioning unit (1).

Tensioning unit type 1:
•
Insert the tensioning unit (1) into the
belt pulley (2) and drive screws into
the tapped holes in the belt pulley.
•
Push the belt pulley with fitted toothed
belt and tensioning unit onto the drive
journal.
•
Adjust clearance A to the protective
profile.
•
Tighten the screws on the tensioning
unit.
Tensioning unit type 2:
•
Insert the tensioning unit into the belt
pulley. The tensioning elements must
be completely inserted into the bore
of the belt pulley.
•
Push the belt pulley (2) with fitted
toothed belt and tensioning unit onto
the drive journal.
•
Lightly tighten the screws.
•
Adjust clearance A to the protective
profile.
•
Tighten the screws on the tensioning
unit cross-wise in several equal steps
until the tightening torque given in the
table is reached.

Frette type 1 :
•
Introduire la frette (1) dans la poulie
(2), visser les vis dans les taraudages
de la poulie.
•
Introduire la poulie avec la courroie et
la frette sur la sortie d'arbre moteur.
•
Contrôler l'écartement A par rapport
au profilé de protection.
•
Serrer les vis de la frette.
Frette type 2 :
•
Introduire la frette dans la poulie. La
frette doit être entièrement introduite
dans l'alésage de la poulie.
•
Introduire la poulie (2) avec la courroie
et la frette sur la sortie d'arbre moteur.
•
Serrer légèrement les vis.
•
Contrôler l'écartement A par rapport
au profilé de protection.
•
Serrer les vis de la frette alternative-
ment et régulièrement jusqu'à ce
que les couples de serrage selon le
tableau soient atteints.

Lubrificare leggermente con olio il
calettatore (1).

Utilizzare il calettatore (1) nella puleg-
gia (2), avvitare le viti nei fori filettati
della puleggia.
Infilare la puleggia con la cinghia
montata e il calettatore nel codolo di
azionamento.
Regolare la distanza A verso il profila-
to di protezione.
Serrare le viti nel calettatore.
Calzare il calettatore nella puleggia.
Gli elementi di fissaggio devono esse-
re introdotti interamente nel foro della
puleggia.
Infilare la puleggia (2) con la cinghia
montata e il calettatore nel codolo di
azionamento.
Serrare leggermente le viti.
Regolare la distanza A verso il profila-
to di protezione.
Serrare a più stadi le viti a croce nel
calettatore in modo uniforme fino a
raggiungere le coppie di serraggio
indicate nella tabella.
