15.Do not start the engine when standing in front of
the discharge chute.
16.Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating
parts. Keep clear off the discharge opening at all
limes.
17.Never lift carry the aerator while it is running.
18.Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug
wire:

Before clearing blockages or unclogging

Stop the engine and wait until the blades
have stopped before removing the grass catcher
or unclogging chute. When cleaning, repairing,
or inspecting, make sure that blades and all
mowing parts have stopped. Disconnect the spark
plug wire, and keep the wire away from the plug
to prevent any accidental starting.

After striking a foreign object, stop the engine,
disconnect the spark plug wire, thorouglhy inspect
the aerator for any damage. Repair it before
starting again. Always call specialised service
centres.

If the equipment should start to vibrate
abnormally, stop the engine and check
immediately for the cause. Vibration is generally
a warning of trouble.

20.Reduce the throttle setting during engine shut
down and, if the engine is provided with a shut-off
valve, turn the fuel off at the conclusion of mowing.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

1. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure
the equipment is in a safe working condition.
2. Never store it with gasoline in the tank inside a
building where fumes may reach an open flame
or spark.
3. Allow the engine to coll before storing in any
enclosures.
4. To reduce fire hazard, keep the engine and the
silencer free of grass, leaves, or excessive
grease.
5. Check the grass catcher frequently for wer or
deterioration.
6. Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced
by manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible
injury.
7. If the fuel tanks has to be drained, this should be
done outdoors.
8. Regularly check or have a service centre check
the tightening of blades and bolts that support the
motor.
9. Blade replacement is complicate operation which
involve specific competence as well as special
equipment. For safety reasons, this operation
must be carried out by a specialised technical
assistance centre.
