In accordance with VDE 0100: part 703 the equipment must be installed by an authorised electrician.
Install the temperature sensor with an excess temperature fuse within the sauna cabin, on the sauna wall
in the area of the heating system approx. 150mm below the sauna ceiling (or in accordance with the cabin
manufacturer's relevant instructions). Only cables designed for a permissible temperature of at least 150°C
must be used to connect the sensor. Core cables must also be protected by a pipe (double installation).
Affix control device to the wall outside of the sauna cabin at a height of approx. 1.70 m - away from heat.
CAUTION – Damage to the device:
Disconnect the device before opening the lid. Unscrew the spring-loaded latch with a screwdriver and remove the lid.

Safety inspection upon commissioning

WARNING- Risk of injury:
This inspection must be performed by an authorised electrician. Live components may not be touched.
1. Verification of the safety cut-out when the cable to the temperature sensor / fuse is disconnected: the heating
system must switch off automatically when the white or red sensor cables are detached. The cable must be
detached on the sensor, the sensor cable is thus included in the inspection.
2. Verification of phase through-connection L1,L2,L3 to U,V,W
3. Verification of earth terminal contacting.

Error diagnosis for the customer

1.
Problem: sauna heater is not heating up
- Automatic time limitation has triggered. Switch off ON/OFF switch, wait for 10 seconds before switching
on again
2.
The LED indicator starts to flash in the case of error. This is possible in the following situations:
- Short-circuiting, disconnected cable or damage to the sensor for temperature measurement;
- Disconnected cable or defect in the thermal fuse for 138°C;
- Defect on temperature selector.
