6.2 QUASI: the keypad backlight is off and switches to full brightness when
a key is touched. It switches off 10 seconds after the last key press.

Installation
Open the keypad by removing both screws [D] with the included special
tool.
Note: opening an already connected system will trigger an alarm!
Use the housing to indicate the location of the mounting holes (3x). Make sure
the cabling can enter the housing through the larger hole at the bottom.
Drill holes, insert concrete anchors when necessary.
Guide cabling through the larger hole at the bottom, and screw the
keypad housing in place using the included screws.
Wire the keypad. Refer to §5 for more details on the terminals. See below
for some wiring examples and refer to §7 for more terminal connection
hints.
Set the keypad backlight jumper [6] to the desired position.
Place the keypad back in the housing and secure it tightly with the 2
screws [D].
o stand-alone system
Note 1: a diode is used to absorb Electro-Magnetic Fields thus preventing
damage to the keypad. Mount it as close as possible to the lock and
in parallel with its power terminals. The diode is not required for AC
operated locks.
