CLEANING AND STORAGE

Please Note!
■
Empty the water tank after each use
of the device to prevent deposits in
the water tank and any damage to the
device resulting from this!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads.
These may damage the surfaces.
1. Detach the cleaning cloth from the
cleaning attachment (4) and wash it in
accordance with the specifi cations on
the washing label.
2. Clean the water tank (2) and the fi lter
plug (see "Cleaning the Water Tank
and Filter Plug").
3. Wipe down the motor unit (8) and the
cleaning attachment (4) with a soft,
damp cloth if necessary and then dry
with a soft cloth.
4. Allow all parts to dry in the air before
storing away the device.
5. Store the device in a cool, dry place
which is out of the reach of children
and animals.
Cleaning the Water Tank and Filter
Plug
1. Remove the water tank (2) (see the
"Filling the Water Tank" chapter)
2. Pull out the fi lter plug and pour away
all the remaining water.
3. Rinse out the fi lter plug thoroughly
under running water.
4. Rinse out the water tank thoroughly
under running water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device works slowly or does
not work at all. The control lamp (9)
fl ashes red during use.
The battery is empty.
► Charge up the battery.
The battery is not charging. The con-
trol lamp (9) fl ashes or does not light
up when the device is connected to
the mains power.
The mains adapter is not inserted in the
plug socket correctly or the barrel con-
nector is not inserted in the connecting
socket (1) of the motor unit (8) correctly.
► Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
► Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
► Check the fuse of the electrical dis-
tributor (fuse box).
The fuse in the electrical distributor
(fuse box) has been triggered.
The number of devices in the circuit is too
high.
► Reduce the number of devices.
Streaks are left when cleaning win-
dows or smooth surfaces.
The scraper lip (7) is dirty.
► Clean the cleaning attachment (4)
with scraper lip.
