Mounted floor and flush floor bases may only be installed on horizontal surfaces. Wall mounted
and clearance mural bases may only be installed on vertical surfaces. Refer to the Tractel®
"Davitrac™+, Davitrac™ and Davimast™ permanent bases" manual. For all other applications,

When using the temporary self-stabilizing base, you will need to adjust the level. Use the screw
mechanisms to compensate for an uneven and/or sloping support surface. The self-stabilizing
base may only be used if the ground is in good condition, stable and non-slipping such as
concrete, bitumen, etc. (see page 8 - fig. 6 and 7)

4. Functions and description

The Davitrac™ is equipped with 2 anchor points. One on each pivot plates. These anchor points are
dedicated for PPE connection.
The Davitrac™ can be fitted with 3 different heads as shown on figure 2.

Each anchor point on the Davitrac™ or its heads or pulleys are identified by a label that mentions
its only possible and permitted use: it is crucial to follow the instructions on such labels.
4.1. Single anchor point head
This head can be used as an anchor point for fall arrest system for 1 operator with a maximum
weight of 330lb. (150kg). The average arrest force of the fall arrest device must be limited to a
maximum of 900lb. (400daN).
1 operator can always secure him/herself on the anchor point on the pivot plates on the back of
the Davitrac™ no matter the configuration.
4.2. Single anchor point head
This head can be used as an anchor point for material lifting hoist with a maximum capacity of
1100lb. (500kg)
A lifting anchor cannot be used as a PPE anchor point for fall arrest.
Only 1 operator can secure him/herself on the anchor point on the pivot plates on the back of
the Davitrac™ while doing material lifting.
4.3. Double pulleys head
This head must be used in combination with other products and their bracket as described in
paragraph "4.6 Description of systems compatible with Davitrac™".
Depending on the configuration and the product used, it is possible to use this head as:
