11.4.2 ZONE MANAGEMENT
11.4.2.1 MLC30 ACCESSORY
The MLC30 accessory is an "Open Therm" (OT) bus signal duplicator. When connected to the boiler it can manage up to 4 non-
mixed zones High Temperature (HT) controlled by a room unit. To manage mixed temperature zones in Low Temperature (LT) the
MLC16 must be added. This separately supplied kit is described below. In the overall diagram shown below, the modular MLC30
accessory can manage both mixed and non-mixed systems by combining the two accessories into a single MLC30(A) known as
"Concentrator". As described below, each MLC30(A) "Concentrator" can manage from 1 to 4 Open Therm (OT) inputs to which
other MLC30's, MLC16's, zone pumps/valves, room units and/or thermostats can be connected.
