Approved venting materials
We recommend that the Condensing boiler be vented with the manufacturer's polypropylene venting material. This can be with
either coaxial venting or with the two pipe rigid vent system. Use only materials listed below for vent pipe, intake air pipe and
fittings. Failure to comply could result in personal injury, death or property damage and could void the boiler warranty. Installations
must comply with local code requirements and with U.S.ANSI Z223.1

WARNING
All venting must be properly supported. The boilers are not intended to support any type of vent system whatsoever.
All piping, glue, solvents, cleaners, fittings and components must conform to ASTM and ANSI standards.
Note: In Canada ULC S636 and in the USA UL 1738 schedule 40 CPVC are the only approved vent system to be used
as an alternative to Baxi polypropylene venting for the exhaust pipe; other than the approved systems listed above in
the Approved Polypropylene Manufacturer's table. In Canada ULC S636 and in the USA UL 1738 schedule 40 PVC may
be used for the vent intake.
WARNING
ABS/PVC venting is not approved for use as a an exhaust vent material. Failure to comply could result in personal
injury, death or property damage and could void the boiler warranty.
Do not use any DWV plumbing pipes to vent this boiler.
Use of cellular core PVC (ASTM F891), cellular core CPVC, or Radel® (polyphenolsulfone) in venting systems shall be
prohibited.
Covering non-metallic vent pipe and fittings with thermal insulation shall be prohibited.
All vent pipe and combustion air pipe and fittings must comply with the following:
Materials used in the U.S. must comply with the following relevant standards: ANSI/ASTM D1785, ANSI/ASTMD2661, ANSI/
ASTM F441.
