Check the items supplied for completeness and the components for transport damage.

Assemble paddle and adjust

The paddle consists of three parts: the upper part with the handle, the middle part with
the latch, and the lower part with the blade (Picture A).
1. Put the lower and middle parts together: Press down on the locking lug and push the
middle part onto the lower part until the locking lug engages in the notch (Picture A1).
To separate the two parts again, press down on the locking lug and pull the two parts
apart.
2. Push the upper part onto the middle part and fi x with the latch (Picture A2).
To separate the two parts again, open the latch and pull the upper part out.
Make sure that the logo on the front side of the blade and the scale on the upper
part are pointing in the same direction when assembling them. Otherwise the
handle will not sit correctly.
Adjust the paddle to the size of the user's body:
• Hold the paddle next to the user,
• loosen the latch,
• hold the upper part by the handle, and
• pull upwards until the arm is slightly extended (but not completely!),
• close the latch again.
Now the paddle is the proper length for paddling while standing on the SUP board. The
scale can be used to mark the position of the paddle extension for use the next time.
To paddle while sitting, push the paddle back to a proper length.
When adjusting the length of the paddle, always make sure that the blade can slide
through the water without the body having to adjust to an unnatural position.
