The SCG-*-F solar modules must be
mounted alternately at four points to
cross-ties. The module clamps on the
longer side of the PV module must be
positioned within the mounting zone of
150 mm to 450 mm (see dimension
drawing). The narrower side of the
module must not be fastened. The
mounting clamps must cover the entire
module frame and fasten the module
securely on the cross-ties. The four
module clamps on which the module
will be fastened must be mounted
without any distortions. Ensure that
the module clamps being used do
not cover the active cell area of the
module, since it may cause shadows
leading to decrease in output.
Since the modules expand in heat, they
must be placed with a minimum gap of
5 mm from the adjacent module (hori-
zontally, vertically).
The modules can be mounted vertically
or laterally.
Non-standard framed solar modules
should be installed at an angle of at
least 15° to the horizontal in order to
ensure the module's self-cleaning.
Keep in mind that the drainage holes
provided (see dimension drawing) must
have no blockages and the water is
able to flow out freely.
PV modules may be used in regions
with snow forces up to 2400 Pa. For
using the modules in regions with
higher snow forces (up to 5400 Pa), the
module must be additionally supported
in the centre of the rear T profile by the
mounting system (additional support).
The earthing holes shown in the drawings
are only for the purpose of earthing the
frame and not for securing the mount-
ing systems or similar. The assembling
aids shown in the dimension drawing
are also not for the purpose of fitting
on the mounting system or similar.
When not mounted in the specified
areas, it must be possible to mount the
framed module on its short sides in an
appropriate laying system. Please con-
