Planning instructions

– In order to ensure that the energy
yield of the modules is not hampered,
avoid mounting in shadowed areas
(trees, buildings, chimneys, antennae,
gables etc.) This is especially impor-
tant if the shadows form during high
irradiance periods (between 9 am and
4 pm).
– In the northern hemisphere, install
the modules towards the south to
achieve optimum module output.
– PV system simulation software must
be used for determining the optimum
pitch angle for every installation site.
– Use only modules with the same cur-
rent intensity for series circuit and
only modules with the same voltage
for parallel circuit. Please refer to the
instructions in the "Electrical layout"
section.
– Install modules only in such a way
that there is adequate room for rear
ventilation. Modules heat up and
require a certain amount of air circu-
lation for cooling; otherwise there
may be output losses or overheating.
– The modules for the SOLRIF D on-
roof mounting system (SCG-HV-RI
and SCG-GEN2-HV-RI series) can
only be mounted horizontally.
