Observe the safety instructions
for working with DC! Allow only
experts to carry out the works.
Do not disconnect energised
module jack connections!
In the event that plug-in connectors
must be opened up, the circuit must be
isolated beforehand at an appropriate
location with a load-break switch used
for this purpose. Disconnecting the
jack connections during the operation
can lead to non-quenchable arcing and
therefore to personal injury and mate-
rial damage.
The inverter must be connected
!
to the module fields properly.
Use only special solar cables and suit-
able plugs. In particular, the cables
used must be UV-resistant and appro-
priate for exterior use.
The electric connection between indi-
vidual modules and to the inverter
must be made with plug connections of
the same type that are pre-mounted on
the modules. While doing so, keep in
mind secure and gap-free connection
of the plug connections.
In order to reduce over-voltages due to
lightning bolts, the surface of the con-
ductor loops must be as small as pos-
sible; avoid conductor loops with large
areas.
Cable cross-sections and lengths
should be selected to ensure that the
outlet loss is less than 1 %. The mini-
mum permissible cable cross-section
is 4 mm².
