Press the sTArT BOOsT-switch of the Power station twice until it lights up red.
Only then the Power Station is ready to provide booster stage power.
Start the sparking of the vehicle in need of booster stage. Wait for about a minute. Then start the vehicle
as usual. Do not proceed the starting progress for longer than 5 seconds. The engine is running.
If the engine does not start running, wait for at least 5 minutes before you try again. This is the time the

battery of the Power Station needs to recharge. Then start again.
When the engine is running, first remove the black crocodile clip of the booster cable. Then remover the
red crocodile clip and disconnect subsequently the booster cable from the Power Station to store it.
Press the »START BOOST«-key once to turn off the Power Station. This is important to avoid redundant
energy flow and unwanted current impulses.
Now, the Power Station Premium must be charged quickly. You can do so by using the 12 V to 12 V-
charging cable on a standing vehicle (in consideration of safety not while driving) or charge the device on
a 230 V-power source (household socket) using the intelligent charger.
6.3 Use as 12 V-power source
The integrated 12 V-socket on the front side of the Power Station is ready for use as soon as you
pressed the START BOOST-switch and the red LED »VOLTAGE OUT« lights up. Open the protective cover
of the socket on the front side and plug the plug of the connecting equipment in the socket. Switch on the
12 V-connecting equipment. The operational life on a completely charged battery of the Power Station
depends of the power consumption and the operational intensity of the connected 12 V-equipment.
example 1:
The battery is charged, 17 Ah (Ampere/hour).
We assume you are using a 12 V-device with 4 A power consumption.
17 Ah – 8 Ah (certainty spare) = 9 Ah : 4 A = 2,25 hours is the period of time you can use this equipment at
the most. After this time, the Power Station will disconnect automaticaly.
example 2:
You know the power consumption of the 12 V-equipment you want to use is for example 48 Watt. In that
case you reckon like this:
48 Watt : 12 Volt = 4 A
17 Ah (battery) - 8 Ah certainty spare = 9 Ah : 4 A = 2,25
So you will be able to use this 12 V-equipment for max. 2 ¼ hours. After this time, the Power Station will
disconnect automatically.
The values mentioned above are theoretical. Depending on the operational intensity. When, for example,
connecting a 12 V-cool box, the operational intensity is also subordinated from the frequency of opening
the box and the ambient temperature.
The time switch function
The Power Station is provided with a time switch function. This enables you to switch 12 V-connecting
equipment on and off automatically, precisely on time. This useful function for example enables you to use
the heating pad optimal for window heating.
Place the Power Station in the vehicle. Set the time switch function at, for example, 06:00 h to START
(Timer ON) and 07:00 h to switch off (Timer OFF).
Apply the heating pad to the screen of the vehicle (see 6.5 Operation of the heating pad) and connect the
heating pad to one of the 12 V-exits of the Power Station. The Power Station will automatically switch on at
the set time, provide the heating pad with poweral and switch off again automatically at the preset time.
Other possibilities for using the time switch function are, for example: use as a night lighting system during
periods of vacancy or absence from holiday or garden house, mobile home, caravan by switching on the
inspection light automatically.
Usage in combination with a thermo-electric cool box to precool for example. For a minute-precise
activation of a 12 V-television/radio connected to the Power Station. Activating a thermo cushion, one or
more heating pad(s) for defrosting your windows connected to the Power Station.

Setting the clock
• Press the »MODE«-key, the digital indication lights up. The background illumination is switched on.
• Subsequently press the »HOUR«-key to set the hours. Choose your time (HOURS) and then release the
»HOUR«-key. For precise tuning press the »HOUR«-key gradually.

• Then press the »MINUTE«-key. Determine the minutes and release the »MINUTE«-key after doing so.
For precise tuning press the »MINUTE«-key gradually.
• To confirm your set time, press the »MODE«–key.
• The clock is set. The relation sign in the centre of the digital read-out lights up.
reMArK:
When pressing the »HOUR«- and »MINUTE«-key the hour or minute-indication is running
from 0-23 (hours) and from 0-59 (minutes) until you release the key again.
Setting the time switch function (TIMER ON)
Setting the moment of switching on
• Press the »MODE«-key three times. The indicator TIMER will be shown in the display.
• Subsequently press the »MODE«-key again, twice. The indicator TIMER ON appears on the screen. Now
determine the desired moment of switching on by using the »HOUR«- and »MINUTE«-keys. The indicator
lights up.
• Then again press the »MODE«–key to confirm the preset time.
Setting the moment of switching off
• Again, press the »MODE«–key twice to set the moment of switching off (OFF). Use for doing so the keys
as described above; »HOUR« for setting the hours and »MINUTE« to program the minutes of the desired
moment of time.
• The indicator »TIMER« appears in the display.
• This tells you the time switch function is set/activated.

from 0-23 (hours) and from 0-59 (minutes) until you release the key again.
Connection 12 V-equipment to the Power Station
Both 12 V-sockets on the front side of the device accept 12 V-plugs. Remove the protective covers of the
socket and plug the 12 V-plug of the connecting device in the 12 V-socket.
Activating the 12 V-socket
Only when pressing the »START/BOOST«-key and the enlightning of the red LED (VOLTAGE OUT) the
outgoing contact will be activated. Until pressing the »START/BOOST«-key again the contact remains
provided with 12 V-direct current. Both outgoing contacts can be loaded simultaneously, each with max.
10 A-output current. This enables you to operate at least two 12 V-connecting devices at the same time.
In the time switch-mode, when the time switch function is activated, both 12 V-contacts are being
switched ON and OFF automatically at the preset moments of time. In this case the 12 V-exits do not need
to activated by pressing the key.
When pressing the keys for programming time the background illumination of the display switches on
automatically and extinguishes on its own about 30 seconds after the last press on the keys.
When changing the battery or when the battery is completely discharged all preset values will be
lost. The display starts a 12:00 o'clock. The current time and moments of time switching need to be
set again.
6.4 Using the UsB-exit
The USB-exit of the Power Station is constantly ready for use. On the condition that the battery is charged
completely. For using the USB-exit you remove the protective cover of the USB-exit and connect the
USB-wire to the USB-contact of the Power Station. The USB-exit can not be activated by means of the
time switch function.
6.5 Changing the battery/Battery removal
The Power Station Premium developed in such a way the heart of the Power Station, the battery, can be
taken out effortless whenever necessary for replacement/removal. This has great advantages regarding
the life time of the Power Station Premium, both when using the device and whenever you will remove it.
Once the battery is done, the device remains preserved. Take battery out, place replacement battery and
continue to use the Power Station for many years. The advantages during operation are evident; especially
in professional use, like in a workshop. Due to the option of replacing the battery it is possible for one boo-
ster stage-device to constantly remain ready to use, practically without charging interruption. Just place a
full replacement battery and one is able to continue the job.
Also when using the device as an independent 12 V-power source, the advantages are evident. The life
time of the device is to prolong nearly arbitrary.
