4 intended use/purpose of the device
The Power Station Premium is a 12 V-direct current multi-function device to be used as a 12 V-mobile
power source, with booster stage, with 24-hour, accurate to the minute programmable time switch
function, with 5 V 500 mA USB-exit for charging equipment provided with USB.
Also to be used as window heating when combining the time–switch function with the supplied heating-
pad on behalf of effectively defrosting your vehicle windows.
For operating 12 V-connection equipment and charging equipment provided with USB.
12 V DC mobile power source
The Power Station Premium; a mobile 12 V-power source.
You are able to operate suitable 12 V-devices hardly everywhere, at any time.
There are two 12 V 10 A-sockets available for doing so.
This is possible on the condition the Power Station Premium is constantly charged sufficiently. Charge the
device on a regular base to keep the battery in a charged condition.
Booster stage
The Power Station Premium is also designed as a booster stage for partly discharged 12 V-lead acid
batteries. Other types of batteries may not be connected to the device.
The Power Station Premium is not suitable for starting a completely discharged vehicle battery.
The device replaces the traditional booster stage of using a second vehicle. All you need is a common
availlable booster cable (not included).
The Power Station Premium is equiped with a 12 V 17 Ah-maintenance free lead acid battery
This operates on a 12 V-direct current. Only with full capacity and a completely charged battery it is
possible to provide the required power of 400 A (max. 900 A) for booster stage during approximately 5
seconds.
Exclusively for operating on 12 V-vehicle batteries, other systems, like 6 V and/or 24 V shall not be
connected.
The big advantage is you don't have to ask a third person for help. By using the Power Station Premium
you can apply booster stage by yourself.
Modern vehicles are provided with a number of electronic components (for example board computers,
car-audio, navigation systems, ABS, car phone, etc.). When providing booster stage raised tensions, line
transients, may appear which possible may lead to defective electronic components. Therefore, before
using booster stage, always first consider the manual, the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer and/or
the instructions of the considered electronic component.
Damages and also consequential damages caused by booster stage are the users responsibility, not the
responsibility of the manufacturer of the Power Station Premium, this does not fall under the scope of
the given warranty. In case of doubt first ask your vehicle-/battery manufacturer/representative how to
proceed.
Connecting a booster cable to the Power station Premium
Never connect the booster stage pole
booster cable directly to 230 V-cables and/or connections. Explosion danger!
Make sure, when connecting and operating the crocodile clips, the clips are not moving, neither may they
cause a conductive bridge between the two clips due to other conductive material (for example jewellery
like necklaces, bracelets or similar objects).
Remove the protective covers from the booster stage poles on the Power Station Premium.
Clasp, by using the pole pliers, the red booster cable to the plus-pole (marked with +, red cover).
Subsequently clasp the black booster cable to the minus-pole (marked with -, black cover).

sure freight is sufficiently protected!
The Power Station Premium is not a battery charger!
A battery can not be charged with this device!
When applying booster stage the device provides supportive, additional, short term (max. 5 seconds)
power to the vehicle battery of the receiving vehicle.
The Power Station Premium is not replacing the vehicle battery!
The device may not be used instead of the vehicle battery!
Ascertain yourself before using/operating the Power Station Premium of the polarity, earthing-points
and maintenance instructions of the considered battery by means of the accompanying explanation/
instruction of the vehicle/instructions of the battery manufacturer. Consider these instructions
before operating booster stage.
4.1 Charging the battery of the Power station
For charging the battery of the Power Station Premium use exclusively the included 230 V intelligent
charger or the 12 V-charging cable! Always use exclusively accessories recommended by Axhess.
Charging with the 230 V-line current charger
• Connect the charging cable of the supplied 230 V-intelligent charger with the charging socket of the
Power Station (on the front side of the device, marked with DC INPUT, pick the one on the right, with
the small diameter).
• Plug the adapter in the 230 V-socket.
• The red LED on the charger lights up, indicates the charging progress has started.
• On the Power Station Premium the red LED »CHARGING« lights up.
• When the battery is completely charged, it is being indicated in the battery condition-bar on the LCD-
display. Also, the green LED »FULL« on the Power Station lights up.
• You don't have to watch the charging progress.
• The intelligent charger can remain connected to the Power Station. It automatically regulates the battery
.
tension of the Power Station Premium. The battery is constantly kept on an optimal level.
Power consumption of the charger is 20 W.
If you don't want to proceed the continuously charging process after charging your battery successfully;
don't forget to reload the Power Station Premium about every 4 months. Batteries are liable to self-
discharge. Always keep the battery completely charged, this lengthens the life-time of the battery.
• If the LED »LOW VOLTAGE« of the Power Station Premium lights up, this indicates the battery is only
partly charged.
• At the same time you see the charging progress of the battery in the LCD-display by means of the
battery condition bar (battery symbol).
• In this case, charge the Power Station quickly.
Charging with the 12 V-charging cable
• by means of the supplied 12 V-charging cable the Power Station Premium can also be charged by a
vehicle with a running engine.
Do not charge while driving!
• If the Power Station is completely empty, it can not be charged with the 12 V-charging cable.
Use the line current charger in this case.
• Connect the 12 V-charging cable with the 12 V-charging socket at the front side of the Power Station
Premium, marked with DC INPUT CHARGE BATTERY.
• Plug the other plug in the 12 V-board contact (cigarette lighter) of the vehicle.
• The red LED of the charging progress-indication (»CHARGING«) lights up.
• When the Power Station Premium is fully charged again, declutch the charging cable of the Power
Station and the vehicle.
