Exclusively recharge the Power Station Premium with a stationary running engine. Not while driving!
Only connect the Power Station to the 12 V-power supply of the vehicle after starting the engine of
the vehicle!

After every booster stage operation the Power Station needs to be charged.
The Power Station needs to be charged on a regulary base, ca. every 4 months, because batteries
are liable to self-discharge. When not being used for a longer period of time this may lead to
complete discharge which is equal to destroying the functioning of the battery. Completely
discharged batteries are excluded from warranty. Keep the Power Station always loaded.
When charging the Power Station Premium, make sure there is always sufficient, good, ventilation
and the device is in a stabie position (see safety references on page 4 and 5.

Protection mechanisms Integrated protective mechanisms of the device:
booster stage protection, the Power Station only provides booster stage
power when it recognizes a »counter voltage« of a vehicle battery. Short
circuit protection. Protection against over-charging in the intelligent char-
ger. Protection against reversed polarity.
Battery protection When reaching approx. +/- 8 V battery tension the Power Station switches
function off automatically. This is to protect the battery against unwanted complete
discharging.
Charging time of the Charging time depends on the residual charge of the battery. At the utmost
battery charging takes 12 hours with the intelligent charger.

6 Using the device
6.1 initial use
Remove the packaging and the cargo protection, convince yourself of the completeness of the contents of
the packaging (Chapter 3, Way of supply).
However the battery of the Power Station Premium is already charged ex-works; charge the battery
lengthy on 230 V with the 12 V-intelligent charger. When the green LED »FULL« lights up, the battery of the
Power Station is completely charged.
Then set the current time. Program the time switch function according to your wishes.
6.2 Use as booster stage
ATTeNTiON!
When connecting the booster stage poles of the Power Station
booster cable are not moving and no conductive bridge originates between the crocodile clips due
to other conductive materials. Remove the protective covers of the booster stage poles and clasp
the booster cable to the booster stage poles.
Red cable on PLUS, black cable on MINUS.
Convince yourself from the fact the sparking of all electric power consuming components of the vehicle
which is going to receive booster stage is switched off (radio, lights, window heating, etc.). Then connect
the red crocodile clip to the plus pole (+) of the battery of the vehicle.
Affix the black crocodile clip to the body work or to a not rotating part of the engine. But never to the
minus pole of the battery!
